CLEVELAND — Avitae USA, LLC announced today that its caffeine water has new distribution in more than 400 stores across the U.S. The stores operate under three Albertsons’ divisions in Washington, Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Florida, and Roundy’s Supermarkets in Wisconsin and Illinois. The new listings are Avitae’s first significant entrance into the Western and Southwest U.S. markets, further strengthening Avitae’s position in the beverage market and as a leader in the caffeinated water category.
“We’re excited that we’re able to provide more consumers in the U.S. with the all-natural energy boost of Avitae,” said Norman E. Snyder, president and chief executive officer of Avitae. “These leading retailers have a loyal consumer base that trusts what products they put on the shelves. Through these partnerships more consumers will have the option of choosing the heathier delivery system to getting their caffeine instead of turning to alternatives containing sugar, artificial ingredients and preservatives.”
All three caffeine levels are authorized in Albertsons’ Northwest, Southwest and Texas divisions and in the banners Pick ‘n Save, Metro Market, Copps and Mariano’s under Roundy’s Supermarkets. The water retails for approximately $1.29 per 16.9-fluid-ounce (500-milliliter) bottle and can also be purchased online on Amazon and Office Depot.
Avitae offers consumers an all-natural beverage in three caffeine-level options. The 45-milligram and 90-milligram caffeine-level bottles are equal to a half-cup of coffee and a cup of coffee, respectively. In March 2014, Avitae added a stronger caffeine-level option for consumers interested in a higher-level energy kick. The 125-milligram-level bottle is equivalent to the amount of caffeine in one and a half cups of coffee. The noncarbonated drink contains caffeine derived from natural green coffee beans, zero calories, no sugars or artificial ingredients, and no bitter aftertaste.
